The Design

Eye of the Storm has a distinct Egyptian style and unique graphics. The grid has Egyptian hieroglyphs in dark brown as a background on the card royals symbols. The cards are decorated with wings and other elements. There are cheetahs, scarab beetles, hand fans, Cleopatra and others related to the topic symbols.

You can see Cleopatra taking the whole reel on rows 1, 2 and 3 in all her glory looking magnificent with a crown. The images are detailed, precise and stand out with their unique style. The grid takes almost the whole screen and is set in front of an authentic Egyptian city. You will see pyramids, palm trees and buildings behind and around the grid as well as fog drifting. The soundtrack is oriental and dramatic. It merges you into the action of the game.

Eye of the Storm Gameplay

Eye of the Storm has 12 symbols, 10 of them are regular ones, there is a scatter and a wild. To get payouts you need 3 to 5 of a kind symbols to land on any of the 10 pay-lines. They must start from the leftmost reels to the right.

The 4 card royals J, Q, K and A are the ones with the lowest values and pay equally. 3, 4 and 5 matching ones of them give you 0.50, 2 and 10 times the stake. The artefacts are the premium symbols. These are hand fans, ankh crosses, scarab beetles, vultures, cheetahs and the Eye of Horus.

The fan and Ankh cross pay equally – 1x to 20x stake for 3 to 5, the scarab beetle – 2 to 25x stake for the same number of symbols. The vulture and jaguar return 2 to 30 and 5 to 40 times the stake for 3 to 5 of a kind respectively. The Eye of Ra symbol is the most rewarding of all. It pays 10, 25 and 50 times the stake for 3, 4 and 5 symbols on a pay-line. A full screen of this symbol gives you 500x stake win.

Cleopatra plays the role of the wild symbol that stands for the other 10 regular ones. It appears on the middle 3 reels only. When the wild can form winning combinations, it expands to its whole reel every time it hits the reels. This helps you win more during the game.

The scatter is the pyramid symbol with the word itself. You can see it on all reels and 3 or more pyramid symbols activate the free spins. This is a paying symbol and the only one that doesn’t need to be on a pay-line. Scatters pay in any position as long as you have 3 or more of them in a spin. Their value is the same as that of the Eye of Ra, which pays most of all.
