TrueLab Games released the Day and Night slot in August 2020. It is an epic battle between two mighty Egyptian gods with two free spin modes. You will take part in a battle for prevailing the reels with Day or Night symbols. Fully wild reels, sticky wilds, and 2 free spins modes will entertain you!
Day and Night is a video slot with 6 reels and 4 rows with which you can win from 20 fixed pay-lines. You can play with a wide range of bets starting from 0.20 to 280 credits. This magnificent dispute of the two powerful deities has low volatility and an RTP of 96.38%. You can win up to 12,500 times your stake or €242,180 per spin at the most.
The main features in the game are the disputes between Ra and Bastet. They turn whole reels into wild reels when one of the god symbols prevail, which is valid for both deities. There are 10 Day Free Spins you can activate that play with extra Ra wilds. The 10 Night Free Spins include sticky Bastet wilds. You cannot retrigger any of both free spins modes.
You see the blazing falcon god Ra standing to the left of the screen. His wings are outstretched and the sun is over his head. So does the bluish cat goddess Bastet with a crescent over her head. She has fluorescent wings and stands to the right of the grid. Ra’s half of the playing area on the left and is fiery, while Bastet’s half is in dark-blue positioned to the right. The clash is immersive, splendid and epic.
The images are very detailed, authentic and mind-blowing. On the reel, you will see 4 main cards decorated with Egyptian ornaments. These land along with papyrus plants, crooks and flails, the Eye of Horus and pink scarab beetles. A falcon Ra and a cat Bastet are the wild symbols. You will see wings, fires, a lot of action and spectacle on the screen. The soundtrack is traditional Egyptian, melodic and suitable for the theme.
There are 8 regular symbols: 4 low-value and 4 premium ones. Two different wilds substitute for all others of Ra and Bastet.
The low-value symbols are the 4 cards. The Q and J pay equally – 3, 4, 5 and 6 matching ones give you 0.10, 0.80, 3 and 6 times the stake. The K and A card pay 0.20, 1, 4 and 12 times your stake for 3, 4, 5 and 5 of a kind symbols on a pay-line.
The premiums include the Egyptian papyrus that returns 0.80, 1.50, 6 and 18x stake for 3, 4, 5 and 6 symbols. The crook and flail symbol pays 0.50, 2, 8 and 24x stake. The Eye of Horus is second according to its payout – 3, 4, 5 and 6 symbols give you 0.60, 2.50, 10 and 30x stake. The pink scarab is the most rewarding of all. It pays 0.80, 3, 12 and 36 times your stake for landing between 3 and 6 symbols on a pay-line.
Each of the 6 reels can belong only to one of the deities. The day reels are operated by Ra (D), while the night ones – by Bastet (N). Day and Night slot starts in a balanced position of D-D-D-N-N-N. The 3 reels on the left belong to Ra. The 3 reels to the right are Bastet’s. The night reels cannot position between day ones as day reels can’t land between night ones. You will win from 20 fixed pay-lines. They reward for 3 to 6 of a kind combinations landed both ways – left to right and right to left.
The Bastet wild and the Ra wild both substitute for missing symbols. These have the highest payouts of all symbols. Hitting 3, 4, 5 and 6 Bastet or Ra wilds pays 1, 4, 20 and 60 times your stake. Ra wilds land only on day reels, while Baster wilds appear only on Night reels. When Ra wilds are more in number, the Day side earns a reel from the Night and turns it into a wild reel. When Bastet wilds prevail, the Night gets one more reel turning it into a wild Night reel.
If a Ra wild appears on the last reel of the Day half and no Bastet wilds hit the Night half, the Day half wins 2 adjacent reels. It makes them both wild reels. If a Bastet wilds lands on the last reel of the Night side and no Ra wilds appear on the Day side, the Night half turns 2 successive reels into wild reels. The reels modes are saved between spins and for each bet. They are unique for each bet.
Besides the gaining of wild reels, there are two free spins modes – each for one of the main deities. The Day Free Spins start when Ra conquers all 6 reels. This gives you 10 Day Spins, on each of which you can land between 1 and 24 Ra Wilds. These wilds cannot overlap each other but can appear on other wilds already landed on the reels. The day spins play at the bet you triggered them with and you cannot retrigger them.
When Bastet gains all 6 reels making them Night ones, you win 10 Night Spins. All Bastet wilds landed during these spins become sticky. The Night Spins play at the triggering bet and you cannot retrigger them.
Day and Night has unique features and stunning graphics. It displays the great clash of two Egyptian gods. The game is original, authentic and like no other Egyptian slot you have played before. The max win per spin is generous, although the volatility is low. It is suitable for all kinds of players and is available right now.
