Witchcraft Riches

Slot Overview

Witchcraft Riches comes from BGaming and uses a 6-reel, 5-row grid without fixed paylines. Wins are settled on a scatter pays basis, where 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid count as a combination regardless of position. The declared RTP is 96.68%, putting it slightly above what the market generally offers, while volatility carries a high rating, so paying spins arrive at irregular intervals. Stakes cover €0.20 through €50.00 per spin, which leaves the upper limit well below several comparable releases. Additionally, the maximum win is set at 5,000x the bet, a modest ceiling for a high-variance title.

Slot Theme

At the centre of the scene stands a witch at work on a new potion, placed in a forest at night. Around her lie treasure chests, crystals and magic potions, which keeps the backdrop tied to the spellcasting subject. The grid carries the same style through, with the 10 to A figures designed from bones, alongside spiders, mushrooms, witch brooms and potions. In addition, the audio suits the mood of the forest and completes the design.

Slot Bonuses & Features

Tumble Feature: After each spin, any winning symbols are paid out and then cleared from the grid. Whatever remains drops towards the bottom, fresh symbols arrive from above to fill the gaps, and the cycle carries on until a new arrangement produces nothing further.

Multiplier Potions: Potion bottles in green, red, purple and blue carry the multipliers. They can turn up on any reel, landing at random across spins and tumbles in base play as well as in Free Spins. The value each one takes is drawn at random from 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, and 500x.

During base play, nothing happens with the potions until a tumbling sequence has finished. At that point every potion value on the grid is totalled, and the sequence’s win is multiplied by the combined figure.

Scatter symbol: Scatters land on any reel and pay from any position. What they are mainly there for is opening the bonus round, which begins once 4 or more of them are on the grid.

Free Spins: Hitting 4, 5, or 6 Scatters all pay the same 15 Free Spins, played at the stake of the spin that triggered them. The potions operate under different rules inside the round, as their values are no longer wiped after each sequence.

Any potion landing on a winning spin contributes its value to a running total multiplier, and that total is then applied to every win thereafter that involves a new potion, right through to the end of the round. Landing 3 or more Scatters during the round pay 5 further Free Spins.

Bonus Buy: The Free Spins round can be bought outright for 100x the bet.

Chance x2: For players who would rather reach the round through normal play, this option doubles the odds of the bonus landing while raising the cost of every spin to 1.25x the bet. Buy Free Spins stays switched off for as long as Chance x2 is running.

Conclusion

Witchcraft Riches rests on the Multiplier Potions, which take values up to 500x and are totalled at the close of each tumbling sequence. 4 or more Scatters pay 15 Free Spins, and the potions change character there, building a running total that carries through the round rather than resetting. Players can buy in for 100x the bet or double the trigger odds with Chance x2.
