Big Bass Splash Halloween 1000

Slot Overview

Big Bass Splash Halloween 1000 is a video slot from Pragmatic Play that takes the studio’s long-running fishing series into a Halloween setting. It runs on a five-reel, three-row grid with 10 paylines and sits in the medium volatility bracket, so wins tend to arrive at a steadier rate than they would on a higher-variance title. The theoretical RTP is 96.50%, which is close to the industry average. Betting starts at €0.10 per spin and goes up to €250.00, leaving room for both small-stake and higher-stake play. The maximum win is set at 20,000x the bet, so the ceiling stays high despite the modest payline count and moderate volatility.

Slot Theme

The Halloween treatment carries through every part of the presentation. Behind the reels sits an autumn forest rendered in reds, oranges and yellows, setting the tone before a single spin is played. Symbol-wise, the standard 10-card values share the grid with fish, rods, jeeps, coffins and bats, each given a seasonal redraw rather than a straight copy of the base series artwork. The audio follows the same direction, with a soundtrack that sits comfortably against the visuals instead of competing with them.

Slot Bonuses & Features

Fisherman Wild Symbol: Available on every reel once the Free Spins round is running, the Fisherman Wild stands in for all other symbols apart from the Scatter and the Money symbols.

Money Symbol: Any Money symbol that lands is assigned a random value, payable during the Free Spins feature. The values on offer are 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x and 1,000x the base bet.

Scatter Symbol: Scatters can drop on any of the five reels. 2 of them landing in the base game sends them to the cauldron beside the grid, and at that point the Free Spins feature may be awarded at random.

Free Spins: Hitting 3, 4, or 5 Scatters open the round with 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins in turn. If 2 Scatters land in the base game without a third arriving, one of two random features may step in to supply it:

• A Respin can fire if the Scatters already on screen are able to move one position down without leaving the reel area. Reels holding a Scatter drop by one position, and the remaining reels spin again.
• 1 or more Scatters may simply be added at random positions after the initial spin has resolved.

The round then pauses for a pick. 6 Pumpkins are shown, and the one chosen reveals either an upgrade for the coming Free Spins or No Reward. The upgrades are:

• More Fishermen: Additional Wild symbols on the reel strips for the round that follows.
• Start from Level 2: The round opens at Level 2 of the progression feature.
• More Fish: Additional Fish symbols on the reel strips for the round that follows.
• More Treats: Better odds of the Trick or Treat, Spider or Bazooka spin features appearing during the round.
• +2 Spins: The round begins with 2 extra Free Spins, and every retrigger adds 2 more on top.

Within the standard Free Spins feature, each Fisherman Wild sweeps up the values of all Money symbols visible at the time. Fisherman Wilds keep accumulating for as long as the round lasts.

Every fourth Fisherman Wild collected retriggers the feature for a further 10 Free Spins and pushes the collection multiplier up the ladder: 2x at the second level, 3x at the third and 10x at the fourth.

Retriggered spins run once the current batch of Free Spins has finished, with the multiplier carrying over to them. Reaching the fourth level closes off any further retriggers.

Pumpkin Symbol: Restricted to reel 5 and to the Free Spins round, the Pumpkin symbol lands at random. Each appearance brings up 6 Pumpkins, with 1 concealing either a round upgrade or No Reward. Upgrades apply from the following spin onwards, and a reveal guarantees a minimum of 5 Free Spins at the current level afterwards.

Random Features:

• Trick or Treat: If a Free Spin ends with Fisherman symbols on screen but no Fish, Fish Money symbols can be dropped into random positions.
• Spiders: If a Free Spin ends with Fish symbols on screen but no Fisherman, Spiders drag random reels upwards to bring Fisherman symbols into view.
• Bazooka: If a Free Spin ends with Fisherman symbols on screen but no Fish, a Bazooka animation can transform every symbol except the Fisherman symbols into something else.

Ante Bet: The bet multiplier can be raised to alter how the game plays. Moving it from the default 10x up to 15x increases the odds of triggering the Free Spins round naturally, since more Scatter symbols sit on the reels. Ante Bet and the Buy Feature cannot be used at the same time.

Buy Feature: The Free Spins round can be bought directly from the base game. Two options are available:

• Regular Free Spins: Straight into the feature for 100x the total bet.
• Super Free Spins: Straight into the feature for 250x the total bet, with a greater chance of Money symbols carrying the 1,000x total bet value.

Conclusion

Big Bass Splash Halloween 1000 keeps the format that made the series work and adds enough on top to justify the seasonal release. The Pumpkin picks, the four-level collection ladder and the three random spin features give the Free Spins round more structure than earlier entries, while the medium volatility and 96.50% RTP keep the base game reasonable. The 20,000x ceiling and the 1,000x Money symbols are where the real potential sits, and both are tied to the feature rather than standard play.
